After an understandable hiatus last year, the West Van Museum's annual West Coast Modern home tour is back. This year, it's a virtual tour. if you have an interest in Vancouver's own style of modernist and mid-century homes, this is not to be missed.
The 2021 West Coast Modern Home Tour will be presented as an hour-long film, distributed as a link to all ticket-holders for the premiere on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Five homes will be represented, including Arthur Erickson’s Eppich I House, with its West Coast post and beam aesthetic, rendered in concrete and one of his most significant residential designs.
Cost is $50 per household.
This is a unique opportunity to experience our architectural heritage up close and personal. I continue to be inspired by ideas and observations from the first time I attended the tour a few years ago.
